Dr. Jun Young Park DDS General & Sedation Dentist
Dr. Jun Young Park DDS, also known as Dr. Lucas Park, serves as a
general dentist at Reading Dental Associates. His educational journey
began with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering
from the University of Toronto, followed by the attainment of a Doctor
of Dental Surgery degree from New York University (NYU).
During
his time in dental school, Dr. Park actively engaged with his community,
assuming the role of an outreach coordinator within his club. He
organized multiple outreach screening events to extend dental care to
individuals facing barriers to access. Additionally, Dr. Park
contributed to biomaterials research, focusing on the mathematical
modeling of dental materials used in clinical practice. His academic
excellence led to his ranking in the top 10% of his class and his
induction into the esteemed Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.
To
further his training, Dr. Park completed a General Practice Residency
at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in New York. This comprehensive
program equipped him with the skills to provide a variety of treatments
to patients of all ages, including those with intricate medical
histories and severe dental anxiety, for whom he often performed
procedures in the operating room under general anesthesia. Additionally,
he gained valuable experience in managing various types of trauma and
infections in the oral, maxillofacial region during on-call shifts.
Currently, Dr. Park's practice encompasses a wide spectrum of general
and family dentistry, including restorative, endodontics, cosmetic
dentistry, and implant dentistry. His unwavering commitment is to
deliver top-quality care that is personalized to meet each patient's
unique needs and objectives. Dr. Park remains dedicated to staying
current with the latest developments in dentistry, regularly engaging in
journal reading and actively participating in multiple continuing
education courses, ensuring that his patients benefit from the most
up-to-date knowledge and techniques.
